Context
Smily Cartoon is an online animation platform built for the Muslim community, with no music and no shirk, and more than eight hundred episodes in catalogue. The service positions itself as a « Netflix for Muslim children » with a curated editorial grid. The client wanted a platform trailer for the site (smilycartoon.com) and the Instagram (smilycartoon) and Facebook (DessinAnimeSansMusique) accounts.
Approach
The piece opens with a deliberately vintage composition: stacked CRT TV sets playing colour bars and short excerpts, white overlay « WHERE TO FIND ». Cut to a 3D animated excerpt — a stylised cartoon rabbit looking through the rear window of a black car at night, overlay « CLEAN ». The outro reveals the colourful Smily Cartoon logo (rounded pastel lettering) with two mascots (one blue, one red) and the baseline « Kids TV / educational · creative · entertaining · fun » next to the « a BAT production » credit. The format is horizontal (16:9) because the piece is built first for the platform home and desktop bumpers, with a vertical reel derivative scheduled later.
Outcome
The trailer doubles as the platform home intro video and as a pre-roll bumper on the episodes. The « no music, no shirk » positioning is carried directly in the site's editorial pitch, not in the image, leaving the trailer a tone accessible to a wider audience. No platform-audience metric (subscribers, MAU) is asserted in the video.
