Art director
You own visual consistency across the brands we serve — identity, social variations, art direction on photo and video shoots.
The role
You partner directly with the founders on strategic briefs. You define visual direction, choose resources (typography, photography, illustrators), supervise graphic and video production, and guarantee a premium execution bar on every deliverable.
Responsibilities
- Define visual direction for a brand (mood, typography, color, tone).
- Brief and review work from graphic designers, editors and freelancers.
- Art-direct photo and video shoots (pre-prod, set, selection).
- Hold the quality bar across the entire portfolio.
- Iterate quickly with strategy and production teams.
- Present and defend concepts in front of clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of art direction experience (agency or in-house).
- Portfolio demonstrating premium execution across several brands.
- Strong command of Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) + Figma.
- Ability to lead a creative team of 3 to 6 people.
- Excellent visual culture (photography, typography, motion).
- Native French + professional English.
Nice to have
- Experience on recurring social content production.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Sora).
- Branding or packaging background.
